I'll start with some positive features of the site. Here are a few reasons to consider opening an account at Sportsbetting.ag:

The site is well-designed and user-friendly. Most of the navigation happens in just two simple navigation bars. The top bar includes the following options: Mobile, Promotions, Cashier, Help, and Contact Us. From this menu, you can find every available answer to common questions or contact the site's staff for a more specific answer. You can make deposits, withdrawals, and inquiries about bonuses.

The second navigation bar breaks down the site's gaming categories: Sports Book, Live Betting, Race Book, Casino, Poker, and Skill Games.

Sportsbetting.ag runs lots of promotions, most of which have reasonable terms. The list of bonuses from Sportsbetting.ag is one of the longest in the industry. Sportsbetting.ag gives near-equal weight to promotions for casino, sportsbook, and poker customers. Outside of the 50x bonus rollover for the slot promo, no rollover is higher than 8x, which makes them attainable. I'm not a bonus-chaser, but with terms like that, I might be tempted to win a quick $10 or $20.

The casino library is one of the best of any "all-in-one" site. I go into more detail below. The site runs Betsoft games. I love Betsoft for their innovative slot themes and designs, their huge library of table games, and the fresh, updated look of their software. Sportsbetting.ag has a good reputation. When a gambling site isn't handling its business properly, word gets out. Online sportsbook and casino bettors speak loudly on the subject of being ripped off. I found no serious allegations of mismanagement against the site. I don't base my opinions entirely on review sites, and I tend to trust a half-dozen or so sites that I know present legitimate information.

The wimpy software and limited variety of live dealer casino games. Instead, I got ugly, slow software that's only available for three games – craps, blackjack, and roulette.

I count twelve blackjack variations, twelve casino poker games, and five classic table games – an excellent variety that includes most of what you'd find in a live casino along with a few Web-exclusive extras. Since all these titles were released by Betsoft, they're guaranteed to be among the best-looking in the business. No one has unseated Betsoft as the online casino design king.

All casino games at Sportsbetting.ag are available as instant-play titles only. No download version of the library exists, and the site's mobile platform is for sports betting only.

Slots

Think of this category as "Classic Slots" – this is the section of the site's casino game library where old-school, simple slot games are hosted. This section is further broken up into groups of 3-reel and 5-reel games, all of which follow the classic slot pattern, with few bonuses, no progressive prizes, and little in the way of theme or plot.

What they do offer is the quality design of any Betsoft title. They look nice, the graphics are crisp, and the titles perform without lag. Classic slots aren't my favorite – I like more bang for my buck. At my last visit, 28 such games were hosted in the "Slots" category.

3D Slots

The "3D Slots" section is made up of forty-five of Betsoft's most modern titles. The games collected here have intricate and well-developed themes, with unique symbols, a variety of line arrangements, bonus games, progressive prizes, and special effects. Forty-five may seem like a limited number compared to some RTG- and Playtech-powered sites with hundreds of titles listed. The reason this number doesn't bother me is that each of these titles has a lot of replay value.

Video Poker

I've never seen so many video poker variants at one site – certainly not at an all-in-one site, where usually video poker variety is the least of a site's concerns. The games here are broken up into multi-hand and single-hand versions and include all the classics (Jacks or Better, Deuces Wild, Joker Poker, etc.) along with some unique and less-known variants, like Pyramid Poker and All-American Bonus.

But the sports betting options available at this BetOnline-owned property are still enticing.

I visited at a relatively-light time for the global sports schedule, so I wasn't surprised to see just eight upcoming live betting events, most of them NBA summer league contests that don't interest me. It'd be nice if the site could host a few more legitimate live betting wagering opportunities.

Sportsbetting.ag's NFL Lines

Sportsbetting.ag offers a mobile version of its sportsbook and live betting options. It's the only option the site makes available for mobile customers. I was put off by the fact that the mobile platform looks nothing like the desktop site, but this is a minor complaint. If I were to use the mobile site regularly, I'd get used to it. Sportsbetting.ag's mobile platform includes about half the number of sports markets as the desktop site. The available mobile markets include:

I'm not sure why the site's mobile sportsbook offers so few markets – it seems like adding other markets is just a matter of adding entries into existing fields. It isn't like a casino, where games have to be translated for mobile display. It's confusing and disappointing.

Four wagering options are available for all sportsbook contests – straight bets, parlay and robin, IF bet and reverse, and teasers & pleasers. The minimum wager for all sports bets (including live and mobile wagers) is $1, and maximums vary by sport. Check this page for specific questions about maximum wager sizes.

Sportsbetting.ag is a skin of the Chico network, which is not one of the top poker networks in the world. But it does manage to draw thousands of cash players at any given time. Some 2,450 cash game players are online as I write this, with an additional 360 players in tournaments.

The only games available on all Chico skins are Texas holdem and Omaha. You won't find any draw, stud, or mixed games like you will on some of the larger networks. You can see this as a positive thing – with fewer game choices, traffic is concentrated, which means more full games at different times of the day.

The name of the game at Sportsbetting.ag poker is microstakes – games are available from $0.01/$0.02 up to a max of $5/$10 for holdem and $1.50/$3 for Omaha. As for tournament play, a full schedule is available every day. On my last visit, I counted 72 upcoming events in the next 24 hours. That's a slightly smaller schedule than at Sportsbetting.ag's competitors, but the smaller network traffic is probably the reason for that.

They're doing things right that the competition is getting consistently wrong.
